Zac Brown Band - Chicken Fried

Not my style of country music at all.  N/A.

Jamey Johnson - In Color

OK track with a good backbone, but a little too slow and depressing.  5/10

Lee Brice - Upper Middle Class White Trash

“Upper Middle Class White Trash” basically describes me.  I was expecting more from this song, and I don’t see this staying around too long.  4/10

Lady Antebellum - Lookin For A Good Time

This was the country band I would be watching during 2008, and after a disappointing run for “Love Don’t Live Here”, we have another single to review.  The group sounds similar to Sugarland, with more emphasis on the male vocals.  This CD is amazing and I recommend it to all country fans.  This single is very good, and I hope it does well.  9/10

Sara Evans - Love You With All My Heart

The recently married Evans drops a new single off her “Greatest Hits” album, and I see this one doing pretty well.  I just checked out a message board regarding this single, and it seems most of her fans are convinced it won’t do very well.  I disagree, and hopefully this song will give “Some Things Never Change” some more attention as well (which should have done much better than it’s doing).

Side Note - You can’t hate a song from a woman as hot as Sara Evans is, especially when she says, “And you can do what you want, You can take me right here.”

Keith Urban - You Look Good In My Shirt

Buzzin on country radio, and i think it’s a pretty decent track. This should do well. 7/10

Jessica Simpson - Come On Over

Jessica sounds so right with the country sound! I expect great things out of her country album (which she is currently recording in Nashville) 9/10

Jimmy Wayne - Do You Believe Me Now

I can see this song doing well on country stations.  7/10

Gary Allan - Learning How To Bend

Good vocals.  Great country track.  7/10

Darius Rucker - Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It

I’m diggin Mr. Hootie as a country singer.  Pretty good single.  7/10

Chris Cagle - No Love Songs

Should be solid on country stations, slim chance at a crossover.  6/10

Brooks and Dunn - Put A Girl In It

One of their better new songs.  7/10

Sugarland - All I Want To Do

First single from their new album “Love On The Inside”, which drops July 22nd.  This one will be moving up the country charts rapidly.  8/10

Taylor Swift - Should’ve Said No

She’s been quite for a little bit with the buzz from Our Song and Teardrops On My Guitar finally starting to die down. This song should bring her back into the spotlight. 7/10

Ashton Shepherd - Sounds So Good

I can see this track doing fairly well on country stations. 7/10
